Frequency Asked
Questions

Do you allow day visitors??

No day visitors are accepted any weekend from the middle of June until the end of August nor any bank holiday period.

At all other times, day visitors will be accepted with permission in advance of the visitor arrival on site. The number of day visitors accepted will depend on the request and number of guests already on site. Vehicles must park in the carpark and there is a small charge payable by each visitor to cover the use of our facilities during the visit.

01

What time can we arrive?

Pitches are available from 1pm. We can sometimes accommodate earlier arrivals on the site but it does depend on the date of arrival. Please check prior to arriving on site.

02

Which EHU do I need to book?

It all depends on what appliances you intend to use. A simple formula to calculate the amps you would require is 'wattage of your appliance divide by 230V'. Remember that you need to consider the cumulative effect of using multiple appliances at the same time.

03

Do you accept groups?

We have a rally field which does lend itself to group bookings or sometimes you may be allocated an area on the main field. It all depends on dates, other bookings for the same period, whether or not you require EHU. Please contact us to discuss your particular requirements.

04

What deposit do you require on booking?

We require a deposit to cover the first night of stay.

05

How can we pay the deposit for bookings?

When booking online on our website the deposit can be paid by debit or credit card. For direct bookings once we have the booking details, payment can be made by cheque to A Tungate, bank transfer (details on the website), or debit card by way of a secure payment link which will be emailed to you.

06

How is the balance of bookings to be paid?

Payment is due on arrival by cash only, excl. groups of 4+ pitches who must settle the balance no later than 14 days prior to arrival. If you prefer to pay prior to arrival by bank transfer, cheque or debit card, please contact us.

07

Do you accept dogs?

We accept dogs with responsible owners (max. 2 dogs per pitch).

08

Is there any space to play ball games?

There is plenty of open space around the site for these sort of activities but please do not disturb other campers and keep balls away from tents and caravans.

09

Do you have Terms & Conditions

Yes we do and you can download and read them by Clicking Here

11

Can we have campfires?

We do allow open fires but these must be contained within a fire pit/BBQ or similar and raised off the ground. We have some fire baskets to rent and logs to buy where guests bring their own container.
